He holds a degree in Philosophy and Communication Sciences from the University of Palermo and a Master’s in Journalism. He began his career as a professional journalist with ANSA and other national media outlets, before taking on roles of increasing responsibility up to senior executive positions in state-owned companies such as CIT, ANAS, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, SACE, as well as in listed corporations including CIR Group, the De Benedetti family holding.
Rodolfo Belcastro assumes, as of 1 December 2025, the role of Vice President – Strategic Communications, Public Affairs & Business Development Europe at Odysight.ai, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed company (ODYS) headquartered in the State of Nevada (USA), with subsidiaries in Israel and Italy.
Odysight.ai is among the most innovative companies in the sector thanks to a proprietary platform that integrates high-definition visual sensing, real-time analytics and predictive artificial intelligence models. This technology enables a transformative approach to the management of critical systems in highly complex industries such as Aviation & Aerospace, Transportation, Energy and Industry 4.0.
The platform has been successfully adopted in major international programs: collaborations with NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense and leading aerospace OEMs have demonstrated the ability of visual-AI technology to enhance operational reliability and significantly reduce maintenance costs.
Since the end of 2024, he has been Executive Advisor at Maroni & Associati, a Milan-based strategic consulting boutique where he supports companies and institutions in highly complex projects related to public affairs, advocacy, crisis management and reputation. In parallel, he also serves as Executive Advisor to Una Terra Venture Capital Fund, an international impact investing fund dedicated to ecological transition and the circular economy.
Alongside his professional activity, he is engaged in academic and training initiatives as a lecturer and speaker at business schools, universities and international forums, focusing on strategic communication, reputation management and ESG.
As an author and commentator for Italian and international media, he has developed an approach that blends strategic vision with narrative skills, making reputation management, communication strategies, advocacy and public affairs the synergic pillars of his professional identity. His goal is to strengthen Italy’s global identity and transform communication into a tool for trust, influence and long-term value creation.
In 2024, he was awarded the honor of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
