Cookie policy

Data controller: RODOLFO BELCASTRO, info@rodolfobelcastro.it

Pursuant to European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and national legislation (“Code regarding the protection of personal data”), the protection of individuals and other parties with regard to the processing of personal data is provided for.
In accordance with the aforementioned legislation, such processing will be carried out in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency and with the aim of protecting your privacy and your rights.

Therefore, we provide you with the following information:
Because cookies are used on our Site for various purposes, with this notice we want to explain what cookies are and how they are used on the Site.
Other cookies (so-called third-party cookies), on the other hand, are transmitted and controlled by third parties. In this notice you will find links to the privacy notices published by those third parties; please read them carefully.
If you are already familiar with cookies, make your choice through the top banner — you can also change your preferences later.
If, on the other hand, you are not familiar with cookies, please read this notice carefully:

What cookies are and what they are used for

Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by a user send directly to the user’s device (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same websites upon the user’s next visit (so-called first-party cookies). While browsing a website, the user may also receive cookies from different sites or web servers (so-called third-party cookies); this happens because the visited website may contain elements such as images, maps, sounds, or specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers different from the one hosting the requested page. In other words, these are cookies set by a website other than the one currently being visited.

Cookies may have a duration limited to a single browser session (so-called session cookies), in which case they are automatically deactivated when the user closes the browser; or they may have a predetermined expiry date, in which case they remain stored and active on your hard drive until that expiry date, continuing to collect information across multiple browser sessions (so-called permanent cookies).

Purposes of processing and the role of technical session cookies

Cookies are used for different functions. Some are necessary to allow you to browse the Site and use its features (so-called technical cookies). Others are used to obtain statistical information—aggregated or not—on the number of users who access the Site and on how the Site is used (so-called monitoring or analytics cookies). Finally, others are used to create a consumer profile of you and to display advertising on the Site that may be of interest to you because it is consistent with your tastes and consumption habits (so-called profiling cookies).

Classification of cookies

Technical cookies

Essential (Necessary): some cookies are essential to enable you to fully experience the functionalities of our website. They allow us to maintain user sessions and prevent potential security threats. They do not collect or store any personal information. For example, these cookies allow you to log into your account, add products to your cart, and check out securely. They may also store the consent you have provided for cookie usage or keep sessions active on the site, etc.

Preferences: these cookies help us store your settings and browsing preferences, such as language preferences, so that you can enjoy a better and more efficient experience during future visits to the website.

Statistics (Monitoring / analytics): these cookies store information such as the number of visitors to the website, the number of unique visitors, which pages were visited, the source of the visit, etc. This data helps us understand and analyze the website’s performance and identify areas needing improvement.

Third-party profiling

Functional (Performance): these cookies support certain non-essential functionalities on our website. Such functionalities include embedding content like videos or enabling the sharing of website content on social media platforms.

Marketing and remarketing (Advertisement): our website displays advertisements. These cookies are used to personalize the ads shown to you so that they are relevant to your interests. They also help us track the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
Information stored in these cookies may also be used by third-party advertising providers to show you ads on other websites while you browse.

As required by current privacy regulations, your prior consent is necessary for the installation of such cookies. For this reason, when you access the Site a specific banner is prominently displayed informing you that profiling cookies are used on the Site and that by accepting them you consent to their use. If you give your consent to the installation of cookies this way, we will record your consent through a specific technical cookie. This prevents the cookie banner from being shown again during your subsequent visits to the Site.

Please note that if you delete this technical cookie from your browser, your consent record will be lost and, therefore, the cookie banner will be displayed again during your next visit to the Site.

Specifications and use of cookies on the site

Technical cookies

Technical cookies are used on the Site solely to allow you to browse the Site and to enable you to use its features. These are always first-party cookies, as they are transmitted directly by us on the Site.

Some technical cookies are essential to provide you with an optimal browsing experience or to allow you to authenticate on the site—for example, to make a purchase on the Site or to log into your reserved area (so-called browsing cookies). Browsing cookies are normally session cookies and are therefore automatically deactivated once you close your browser.

Other technical cookies are useful for allowing you to store certain preferences (for example, language or country of origin) without having to reset them during future visits (so-called functionality cookies). For this reason, functionality cookies are often persistent cookies, as they remain stored on your computer even after closing the browser, until their set expiration date or until you decide to delete them.

Monitoring or “analytics” cookies

Analytics cookies are used on the Site to collect statistical information—aggregated or not—on the number of users who access the Site and on how they visit the Site.

The analytics cookies used on this Site are third-party cookies, as they are not transmitted directly by us but by third parties and are therefore not installed directly by the Company.

The following third-party analytics cookies are fully anonymized and are used for statistical purposes only. As a result, the third parties cannot access disaggregated analytics data at the IP address level (in other words, by using these cookies, third parties cannot trace your identity). For this reason, and due to how they are used on the site, they are considered equivalent to technical cookies.

Profiling cookies

Profiling cookies are used to create a user profile based on the preferences and interests you have shown while browsing the Internet, and to display advertising messages that are consistent with your profile. This way, the advertisements you see on our Site may be more relevant and interesting to you.

Of course, you are free to block the installation of profiling cookies at any time, without affecting your ability to visit the site or use its content. Disabling behavioral advertising does not mean you will no longer see ads on the Site; however, the banners you see may not reflect your interests or preferences on the browser you are currently using.

First-party profiling cookies are not installed by this site.

To disable profiling cookies, modify your browser settings as indicated below.

Third-party profiling cookies
Most profiling cookies, however, are installed by third parties, who act as independent data controllers (third-party cookies). Here is a list of the third-party profiling cookies currently used on the Site, along with links to the informational pages provided by their developers:

Not present on the site

YOUTUBE: YouTube is a service that allows you to watch videos. The service is managed by Google Ireland Limited. The cookies that would normally be installed are: YSC cookie (session duration) and VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE (duration 6 months). However, our site embeds the video using YouTube’s enhanced privacy mode, which includes the “nocookie” feature, preventing these cookies from being downloaded to your browser. Privacy Policy – Cookie

GOOGLE MAPS: Google Maps is a map viewing service managed by Google Ireland Limited that allows this Site to indicate the location of the company.

These cookies are used by Google Maps to store user preferences and information when locating offices or points of sale on maps automatically generated by Google and embedded in the website. They are used only on pages where Google Maps are displayed. The cookie expires 6 months after the last visit to a page containing a Google map. Privacy Policy – Cookie

GOOGLE FONTS and/or Font Awesome: Google Fonts and Font Awesome are services that allow fonts to be loaded to improve the appearance of the site through the use of stylesheets, icons, and styling. Google’s service is managed by Google Ireland Limited. The use of Google Fonts does not involve the use of cookies. However, loading them via API from Google’s server may transmit your IP address. For more information, see Privacy Policy – Cookies.

Please note that if you log in to the Site using the credentials of a social network you are registered with, you may receive third-party cookies from the operator of that social network. These cookies typically not only allow you to authenticate on the Site but may also be used for profiling purposes. Before logging in using the social network buttons, please read carefully the information provided by the social network operators regarding the use of these cookies. If you do not want to receive these cookies, log in to the Site using the standard login method without using the social network buttons.

How to manage cookies and opt out of their use via your browser
There are several options to manage, disable, and delete cookies.

Change your browser settings
Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the browser you use to learn how to manage, disable, or delete all cookies (technical, analytics, and profiling):
Edge (formerly IE)
Chrome
Firefox
Safari
Opera

Make your choices carefully. By indiscriminately blocking all cookies, including technical ones, without allowing a specific exception for the Site, you may no longer be able to navigate the Site or fully use its features. Additionally, deleting all cookies from your browser may remove even technical cookies, which could result in losing preferences you have set on the Site or no longer finding products or services added to your cart.

Use our interactive tools or those provided by third parties

To disable third-party cookies, consult the privacy policies of the third parties that install analytics or profiling cookies to learn about the tools available to manage, disable, and delete cookies, and more generally, to opt out of their use.

Please note that by disabling third-party cookies, you are opting out of their use not only on this Site but on all websites where such cookies are used, and your ability to navigate the Site and use its features will not be affected in any way.

When you disable third-party cookies, you will still see the cookie banner on the Site’s homepage; however, by closing the banner, scrolling the homepage, or clicking any element outside the banner, you will not receive any third-party cookies that you have correctly disabled.

Use the website www.youronlinechoices.eu/it/

Your Online Choices is a website managed by the non-profit association European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA). Its Italian version is available at www.youronlinechoices.eu/it/. The site provides information about behavioral advertising based on profiling cookies (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/a-proposito) and allows Internet users to easily opt out of the installation of major profiling cookies used by advertising operators on websites (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/le-tue-scelte).

Before using this tool, we recommend carefully reading the general terms of service of Your Online Choices (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/condizioni-generali-di-servizio), the frequently asked questions (FAQ) (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/faqs), and the user guide (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/help).

Use Your Online Choices consciously. Although Your Online Choices brings together many of the major advertising companies that use cookies, some third parties that install cookies through the Site may not be part of Your Online Choices. Therefore, using Your Online Choices does not guarantee that third-party cookies will be blocked while browsing the Site.

Also, remember that if you delete all cookies from your browser, even the technical cookies set by Your Online Choices to remember your preferences may be deleted, which could reactivate third-party cookies.
